Former Senegalese PM Attributes Ouster to Sall Candidacy Opposition
Senegal’s former prime minister Aminata Toure says she will keep fighting against the potential candidacy of her former boss, President Macky Sall, who has remained silent on his intention to contest the 2024 presidential election. Toure told VOA’s Abdourahmane Dia she believes parliament leadership’s decision to strip her seat is solely based on her opposition of a third-term candidacy bid by President Sall.
