Egyptian President Responds to Somalia, Ethiopia Tension
United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Chief William Burns visited Kenya where he held talks with President William Ruto before heading to Somalia to meet with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. For an analysis into the ongoing tensions in eastern Africa, VOA’s Esther Girthui-Ewart spoke to Macharia Munene, a professor of history and international relations at the United States International University in Nairobi.
