Drone strike hits Sudanese army base amid ongoing fighting with RSF
Sudanese military authorities confirmed that a graduation ceremony held Wednesday in the nation’s Genit Army Base was interrupted by a drone strike that killed five people, excluding Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the head of the Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF. The strike happened amid ongoing fighting against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, RSF. However, the forces led by Burhan’s rival, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, also known by his alias “Hemedti,” have not claimed responsibility for the attack.
