DRC Foreign Minister: We are open to dialogue with Rwanda on North Kivu tensions
The Democratic Republic of Congo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Therese Kayikwamba Wagner has announced that Angolan President Joao Lourenco is set to meet with DRC President Felix Tshisekedi and Rwandan President Paul Kagame on December 15 in Luanda, Angola’s capital. Wagner said that the talks are part of Angola’s ongoing efforts to help resolve political tensions between Kinshasa and Kigali. In an exclusive interview, Wagner spoke with VOA’s Peter Clottey about Angola’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at easing tensions between the DRC and Rwanda.
