COP27 Delegates to Fund Poor Countries, Yet Fail to Slow Carbon Emissions
The U.N. climate conference ended in overtime on Sunday morning, with the creation of a “loss and damage fund,” which analysts say is a step toward helping the people already suffering the most from climate change. But in settlements crushed by mudslides in Brazil, locals say it will take more than money to avert disaster.
