Analyst: Sudan Cease-Fire Serves as a Starting Point for Lasting Peace
Thousands of people are fleeing Sudan’s capital Khartoum for fear of losing their lives as fighting between the Sudanese military and the Rapid Support Forces continues. The United Nations' special envoy to Sudan, name, on Tuesday said there is no sign that warring parties in Sudan are ready to seriously negotiate. For an analysis into the current situation in Sudan, VOA's Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Brian Adeba, deputy director of policy at The Sentry, an investigative and policy organization.
