Analyst: Institutional Tensions at the Heart Sudan's Violence
As fighting continues in Sudan between the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese army, U.S. special forces troops evacuated all American government workers, their families, and a number of diplomatic staff from other countries. For more on the ongoing Sudan conflict, VOA's Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Cameron Hudson, senior Associate at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies and former chief of staff to the U.S. special envoy to Sudan.
