Analysis: Former Sierra Leone President Koroma Charged with Treason
Sierra Leone's ex-President Ernest Bai Koroma was on Thursday charged with four offenses including treason for his alleged role in a failed coup to topple the West African country's government in November. Twelve other people also were also charged with treason in connection with the failed coup, including former police and correctional officers and a member of Koroma's security detail.
