African Leaders Arrive in Ukraine for Peace Mission
A delegation of African leaders led by South Africa arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine Friday to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and then with Russian President Vladimir Putin Russia on Saturday, as part of an Africa-led peace mission. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to American University professor Kwaku Nuama to address the significance of the arrival of the African delegation.
