Some African diaspora unify behind US President Trump
U.S. President Donald Trump is enjoying support from some Africans in the diaspora who support the president's executive orders on freezing humanitarian assistance and foreign aid initiatives that came through the United States Agency for International Development. VOA's Paul Ndiho spoke with Chinwe Esimai, president of Scepter 3 Global Advisors, a strategic advisory firm providing a suite of compliance and risk management services, about why President Trump's policies resonate with the African diaspora, and how some are seeing the president’s second term in office as more transformative for U.S.-Africa relations than his first.
