African human rights advocates promote anti-sexual harassment initiative
The Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU), the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, and the Africa End Sexual Harassment Initiative (AESHI) recently held a virtual two-day event where they launched a report which addresses sexual harassment in the workplace across sub-Saharan Africa. For more on the report titled “Equal Protections in Law and Practice: Unifying Africa to End Sexual Harassment,” VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke with Pamhidzai Bamu, one of the moderators at the two-day event.
