WFP report sheds light on global hunger, potential famine
The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) recently released their “Global Outlook 2025” report which shows the severity of food insecurity across the world, especially in conflict-stricken countries like Sudan, South Sudan, Mali and Burkina Faso. For more on the report, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke with Rania Dagash-Kamara, the WFP’s Assistant Executive Director of Partnerships and Innovation.
