Somaliland set to hold elections, pushes for international recognition
Somalia’s breakaway region of Somaliland is set to hold general elections on Wednesday and presidential candidates, including the incumbent President Muse Bihi Abdi who is seeking re-election, say the self-declared republic wants recognition from the international community.
