Analysis: US Secretary Blinken Visits Angola
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken continued with his four-nation tour of Africa with a visit to Angola, where he met with President Joao Lourenco, as well as Foreign Minister Tete Antonio. For an analysis into the significance of Secretary Blinken’s visit, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Florindo Chivucute, an Angolan political analyst and executive director of Friends of Angola, an organization dedicated to supporting Angolan civil society.
