US Secretary of State Begins Tour of Africa
United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken headed to Africa on Monday, as the U.S. seeks to increase economic development and health access in Cabo Verde, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Angola. For the latest on the Secretary of State’s tour, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Kwaku Nuama, a professor at American University’s School of International Service in Washington, DC.
