Civilians Recruited by Sudan Army Partake in Military Training
Civilians recruited by the Sudanese army took part in a military training on Sept. 6, and were paraded in Wadi Hamid, in northern Sudan. Since fighting began mid-April between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, RSF, nearly 7,500 people have been killed, according to an estimate from the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project. The fighting has seen 2.8 million people flee Sudan's capital Khartoum, United Nations data shows.
