Zimbabwe Opposition Reacts to Election Results
Zimbabwe's main opposition party, Citizens Coalition for Change, led by Nelson Chamisa, had called the nation's recent election a fraud. The electoral commission declared incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa winner late Saturday but many analysts have questioned the credibility of the results. Chamisa is counting on the international community to press the government over the way the elections were conducted. For more opposition reaction to the election results, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Promise Mkwananzi, the spokesperson for the Citizens for Change Coalition.
