Gabonese Opposition Coalition Holds Rally Ahead of Saturday Elections
Former Gabonese education minister and opposition coalition presidential candidate Albert Ondo Ossa held a pre-election rally in Libreville, days after main opposition parties in the Central African nation agreed on a joint candidate to challenge incumbent Ali Bongo Ondimba. The coalition, Alternance 2023, launched in January, brings together six opposition parties. Gabon heads to the polls on Aug. 26.
