Sierra Leone Journo’s Plead Improved Protection
Female journalists in Sierra Leone have expressed concern over the number of their colleagues being harassed and blocked from covering events, especially as the West African nation edges closer to its elections slated for Saturday. As a result, media associations and human rights groups are calling on government to ensure better protection and support for journalists.
