UN: Sudan War Pushes World IDPs to 110 Million
The United Nations refugee agency UNHCR Wednesday announced that the worldwide number of Internally Displaced Persons jumped to a record high of 110 million, largely due to Ukraine’s two-year long war with Russia and Sudan’s eight-week conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.
