Leave DRC, MONUSCO: Goma Protestors
Protesters set fire to the UN peace mission (MONUSCO) building in Goma, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, before assaulting it and demanding that the peacekeepers leave. "For more than 20 years MONUSCO has been in the country, and it has done nothing,” said protester Eric Mumbere Bwanapuwa. The Congolese government condemned the attack and the MONUSCO called it "unacceptable."
