A vessel carrying aid to Palestinians leaves Cyprus for a U.S.-built pier off Gaza. U.S. officials said the vessel will be used to offload supplies onto the floating pier built to expedite aid into the besieged enclave. It is Teacher Appreciation Week in the United States, to honor educators for their work in schools and universities.
