Africa 54: Vessel with Aid Heads to Gaza, Inspiring Teachers in Africa, East African Music in US
A vessel carrying aid to Palestinians leaves Cyprus for a U.S.-built pier off Gaza. U.S. officials said the vessel will be used to offload supplies onto the floating pier built to expedite aid into the besieged enclave. It is Teacher Appreciation Week in the United States, to honor educators for their work in schools and universities. We will bring you the story of a teacher who has designed a curriculum to inspire teachers across Africa.
