Coming up on Africa News Tonight: South African anti-migrant groups have expressed outrage over a recent government decision to grant a lifeline to almost 200,000 Zimbabweans by extending the Zimbabwe Exemption Permits which were scheduled to expire in December thereby allowing them to continue working and residing in the Southern African nation; Red Cross officials report the death of 15 people resulting from a landslide in western Uganda, triggered by heavy rainfall that to date has caused flooding and destroyed crops and infrastructure.

Sue Bird, one of the greatest women's players in basketball history, reacts to fans chanting, "Thank You, Sue," after her last game Tuesday night. The 41-year-old Bird retired after her team, the Seattle Storm, was eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals of the WNBA Playoffs. The star guard won four WNBA titles with the Storm; five Olympic gold medals with the U.S. women's national basketball team; and two NCAA championships with the University of Connecticut.
