World Health Organization looks at road traffic deaths in Africa
Road traffic death rates have grown exponentially since the past decade in Africa. At the same time, global rates have decreased by 5%. The World Health Organization status report exposed the road safety issues in Africa despite having only 15% of the world’s population, and 3% of its vehicles. VOA’s Linord Moudou talks to Binta Sako, Technical Officer for WHO's Regional Office in Africa for more information.
