Uber Rolls Out New Electric Motorbike Fleet in Kenya
Ride-hailing company Uber launched an electric motorbike service in Kenya, its first in Africa, as the company seeks to make its global platform emissions free by 2040. “We are launching a fleet of electric Boda Bodas that will be zooming around the city, and we are really excited for the citizens to be able to experience this product, as soon as you get onto it you will experience lower vibrations, less sound..,” said Kagiso Khaole, Uber sub-Saharan managing director.
