Eritrea made a its debut in the 2024 Miss Universe pageant represented by 25-year-old Virginia-based neuroscientist Snit Tewoldemedhin, who is advocating for children with learning disabilities and for breast cancer awareness. Snit tells Red Carpet that her advocacy work is deeply personal, inspired by her younger sister, who has a learning disability and her mother who passed away due to breast cancer.
