Senegal joins the ranks of oil-producing nations
Senegal has joined the ranks of oil producers. Though the country’s fossil fuel output may not be as high as that of bigger producers, Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye said profits from the sale of oil and gas will be “well managed.” VOA’s Linord Moudou spoke to Abdoulaye Diaw, an exploration and reservoir geologist from Dakar.
