Mo Ibrahim Foundation releases African financing report
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s latest report, "Financing Africa: Where is the Money?" provides a comprehensive analysis of both the financial needs deemed necessary for Africa to meet its development and climate goals and the resources that are currently available. The report underscores the potential of Africa's domestic resources, which could cover 75% to 90% of financial needs, with $100 billion lost annually to Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs). Abdoul Salam Bello, the Executive Director of the World Bank Group for Africa Group II, joined VOA’s Linord Moudou to discuss the report and what more can be done to ease Africa’s financial difficulties.
