Middle East sees tensions flare as Israel, Iran exchange missiles
The Iranian ballistic missile attack against Israel on Tuesday was larger, more complex and involved more advanced weapons than the strikes in April, putting greater stress on missile defenses and allowing more warheads to get through. Experts say the latest attacks appear to have used Iran's Fattah-1, and Kheybarshekan missiles, both of which have a reported range of about 870 miles. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Khosro Sayeh Isfahani, a researcher at the Atlantic Council’s Strategic Litigation Project, for a look into how the two sides may potentially react going forward.
