From Ohio to Eswatini: Compassion that crosses continents
When Echo and Harry VanderWal saw the devastating effects of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Eswatini, they packed their bags in Ohio in 2004 and moved to set up a free healthcare service there. Today, their nonprofit, The Luke Commission, provides medical care to over 300,000 patients annually in rural Eswatini. For more on how the nonprofit is helping people in the southern African kingdom, VOA's Nokukhanya Musi filed this report.
