COP28 Summit Delegates Grapple with Climate Change Health Risks
For the first time, delegates meeting at the COP28 global climate summit in Dubai have addressed the impact of climate change on public health amid warnings that global warming could increase the risk of deadly diseases, particularly in Africa. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Menghestab Haile, the World Food Program’s regional director for southern Africa, on the impact climate change is having on African food production.
