Analysis: Three West African military governments sign confederation treaty
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) said on Sunday that the region almost experienced worsening insecurity after junta-led Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali made clear that they intend to leave the bloc by signing a confederation treaty.
