High school teacher's plan to help student through chess morphs into academy
An idea that started out as way to help one student having problems at home turned into a full fledge chess academy in Washington, D.C. where young kids learn chess, while gaining problem solving skills, discipline and the ability to apply the board game’s lessons in real life.
