Health Report: Africa battles worsening mpox outbreak
The resurgence and spread of mpox is keeping health officials worldwide on high alert. This is the second time in just over two years that the WHO has declared mpox to be a global emergency. VOA’s Linord Moudou spoke to Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, the regional director for Africa at the World Health Organization, for an analysis into how the WHO is battling the global health emergency.
