2024 Republican National Convention begins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
A defiant former President Donald Trump will attend the full Republican National Convention, just days after he survived an assassination attempt. The attempt on his life does not appear to have deterred him or supporters from attending the convention, where Trump is expected to receive the party’s nomination for president in the 2024 general election in November. VOA’s Linord Moudou spoke to VOA reporter Carol Van Dam live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a look at how the convention is changing with the assassination attempt.
