Kenya police clash with protestors as calls for president’s resignation continue
Kenyan police clashed with protestors again on Tuesday after youth-led demonstrations took place in the capital, Nairobi and in Mombasa, a coastal city in the East African nation. The protests were part of a series of demonstrations where Kenyan youth demanded better governance, President William Ruto’s resignation and for police officers to be held accountable for injuring and in some instances killing protestors.
