‘Ruto should know that we are firing him’ Kenya protestors in Mombasa say
Kenyans in Mombasa have joined their counterparts in the capital, Nairobi, in taking to the streets on Tuesday to speak against bad governance and in calling for President William Ruto’s resignation. Prior to Monday’s demonstrations, Kenyans filled the streets again last week, which resulted in Ruto abandoning plans to increase taxes in the East African nation. He also said he was willing to dialogue with the protestors; however, his calls were ignored.
