Queen Titine, a Guinean designer, wants everyone to wear African styles
Guinean designer Queen Titine is breaking new ground in fashion, showcasing the fabrics of Guinea-Bissau through her work. Titine wants to empower young people from her homeland to believe in and pursue their dreams, and to see African fabric and style normalized and worn by everyone. Mayra de Lassalette spoke to her in New York.
