US, allies deflect Iranian missile attack against Israel
All eyes are on Iran, which over the weekend made a historic first strike on Israel after the country launched an strike that hit the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria killing 16 people. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to VOA Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb for the latest on how U.S. forces in the Middle East this week intercepted dozens of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) en route to Israel, launched from Iran.
