Guinea’s Junta Appoints New Prime Minister
Guinea’s military government has named a new prime minister a week after junta leader Mamady Doumbouya abruptly dissolved the government. According to Reuters, the new prime minister is Mamadou Oury Bah. His appointment comes as Guineans have this week been protesting economic hardships and ineffective government policies.
