US Foreign Policy in Africa
On this edition of Straight Talk Africa, host Hayde Adams and her guests take a look at the U.S. policy towards Africa. Last year’s U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit brought dozens of African leaders to Washington to strengthen ties and boost engagement with the continent. This episode explores the progress made since then and analyzes U.S. foreign policy in Africa. Guests include Rama Yade, French ambassador to UNESCO and senior director of the Atlantic Council's Africa Center and Charles Ray, former U.S. ambassador to Cambodia and Zimbabwe and chair of the Chair of the Africa Program, chair of the Foreign Policy Research Institute's Africa Program.
