Malawi’s Christian Community Protests Same-Sex Marriages
In Malawi, Christian leaders recently took to the streets to protest same-sex relations amid recommendations for a referendum by the southern African nation’s parliament to decide on whether to legalize same-sex marriages, despite arguments by civil society groups that say human rights should not be subject to a popular vote.
