Ramadan Begins for Somali Muslims Amid Record Drought
Thursday marked the beginning of Ramadan, a holy month observed by Muslims worldwide. In Somalia, a predominately Muslim nation, an ongoing record drought has affected millions of people and killed over 40,000 last year.
