The Associated Press reports that a provincial spokesman says the players were returning from a match in Maï-Ndombe province on Sunday night when the vessel capsized. Uganda has deployed special forces in South Sudan's capital Juba to maintain security as tensions rise between the government and opposition leadership. Officials from the United States and Ukraine are in Saudi Arabia for talks on ending Ukraine’s war with Russia, with Kyiv’s negotiators expected to present a partial ceasefire plan.
