President Joe Biden pushed for a greater international response to the mpox outbreak and promised to send 1 million vaccine doses to affected African nations. Ethiopia's foreign minister has warned that Egypt’s weapons shipments to Somalia could exacerbate regional tensions, after Cairo and Mogadishu signed a security deal.
