Starting at :05 into the hour today's edition features music about, by, and for mothers in honor of Mother's Day. Heather brings artists like Daraa Tribes (Morocco) and ThugOmega (Ghana) present their own songs for this special day, and VOA personalities present other classics like "Sweet Mother" (Prince Nico Mbarga) "Mama I'm Sorry" (Brenda Fassie) and "Koka Bere" (Adja Soumano). Malian Diva Oumou Sangaré is our featured guest this week! Reporter Brahms Posthumus interviews her from Yanfolila (Mali) during her International Wassulu music festival, Jono took place.
