Doctors Without Borders, known as MSF, reports that hundreds of thousands of civilians are trapped amid intense fighting between the Sudan Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in El Fasher, North Darfur State. MSF supports South Hospital in the North Darfur capital, where its emergency response manager, Claire Nicolet, says her team has received over 700 casualties and 85 deaths since May 10. She tells VOA's Nabeel Biajo that the hospital, which currently has only one surgeon, will run out of supplies in 10 days. MSF is urging the warring parties to guarantee safe access and authorization to restock and continue treating the injured.
