Wesley Louissant Comes to Washington, Talks Latest Album
Wesley Louissant, also known as Wesli, is a Montreal-based Haitian multi-instrumentalist known for showcasing the rich music traditions of Haiti within his modern, multinational dance band. Wesli was in Washington, D.C. in October to promote his latest album 'Tradisyon'. VOA's Heather Maxwell speaks with him backstage and catches some of his live performance at local D.C. venue Bossa Bistro.
