VOA 60: Germany says a lack of trust stops military cooperation with Niger and more
German Foreign Affairs Minister Annalena Baerbock said Wednesday during a visit to Ivory Coast that her country can no longer cooperate militarily with Niger due to a lack of "trust" in the military regime there. The U.N. is warning that the ongoing security crisis in the eastern North Kivu province in the DRC has led to unprecedented levels of deforestation.
